Papaya is a tropical fruit, it will not survive outdoors in winter season. Bring the seedling indoor before 1st frost of the season. Keep it indoor, near a sunny bright place, water once a week. Lightly fertilize after 2 months. Next year take the young plant outdoor after last frost. Water and fertilize regularly.
