Jute leaves are commonly known as Jute mallow, Jew’s mallow, or Molokhia. They are also called পাট শাক in Bangladesh, Saluyot in the Philippines, Ewedu in Nigeria, and Lalo in the Caribbean. The scientific name for the plant is Corchorus olitorius.

Growing Information
