Lupins are perennials in Canada for zone 5 and up. They are cold hardy and comes back in spring, bloom flower for 2 months until early summer. Lupines are pretty low-maintenance flower plants that easy to grow and increase beauty of all gardens due to it’s vibrant multi colours.

Growing Information
Seed Sowing: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly outdoors after the last frost. Sow seeds 1 cm deep.

Days to Maturity: 150-180 days
Tips: Seeds must be soaked in the water for 24 hours before sowing. Lupines planted from seed in spring won’t bloom until late summer or fall. In some cases, these lupines might not bloom until the following spring. To ensure blooms the first season, start lupine seeds indoors six to eight weeks before planting outdoors or sow them directly outdoors in the fall for early spring bloom in next year.
